Project Details
VIS has been present in Ghana since 2015. The country is experiencing problems related to irregular migration which they are trying to stem through the Stop Trafficking Campaign. They cooperate especially in Accra and in the Brong Ahafo Region, focusing on the use of innovative cultivation techniques for the context, such as greenhouses.
Since their arrival, regarding migration, they have carried out a field research on three different target groups: returning migrants, households (groups of families) and vulnerable young people. From there they developed different project ideas, such as awareness campaigns and on-site development projects, which include vocational training, socio-professional integration and the promotion of regular migration.
